Introduce two production methods of double-layer glass
Jun 16, 2022
There are two production methods for double-layer glass, one is manual blowing and the other is machine blowing. With the development of production technology, machine blowing has become the mainstream production method.
Originally, the double-layer glass should be blown manually. Use a stainless steel hollow tube to pick an appropriate amount of high-temperature molten glass water, blow it into a spherical shape like blowing a balloon, and then put it into the prepared mold to continue to blow it. The shape of the mold is fitted, and then the mold is opened, and the cup is clamped into the annealing kiln to remove the stress of the glass, and after it comes out, it is cut, edged, installed (foot or handle), and polished to be the finished product.
The principle of machine-blown double-layer glass is the same as that of manual work, except that it is blown by a human being into a bubble blower. The pressing machine is like a revolver. The molds are fixed on the turntable one by one. Generally, there are 8 or 10 molds in a turn of the turntable, and a punch hanging above is fixed. The glass water is dropped into the mold through a barrel. Then, when it goes to the bottom of the punch, the punch falls to press the glass advertising cup into shape, and then it is manually taken out and put into the annealing kiln, and the finished product comes out.
